KQ Writing Studio Bulletin

JUNE 2023

Business Tool of the Month

I could tell you to click this link to take up to 70% off Bluehost, so your website can stop giving you unnecessary headaches…that would be a solid recommendation! I could also tell you that beyond all of the technology and modern tools, one of the best resources for business owners is sunlight. If you want to go total nerd mode, then check out Andrew Huberman’s podcast to learn about the sun’s effects on sleep cycles and productivity throughout the day. Otherwise, tomorrow just step outside during early sunlight hours (without sunglasses) and take note of how you feel later in the day.

Blog Content Ghostwriting

KQ Writing Studio’s monthly ghostwriting packages didn’t always come with 1:1 creative and strategic coaching…but now they do! Let’s commit to filling your website with SEO-friendly blog content, while answering your most urgent questions about organic marketing and business growth via Telegram. Monthly rates start at $1,000. See ya on the other side!

Giving Your Audience Valuable Content Through Blogging

I have a question for you. How did you get here? No, I don’t mean like how did you emerge from a tiny embryo to a fully-grown adult? Although, that’s fascinating, too! (Fun fact: I studied health science in college, and the reproductive system was one of my favorite units to study.) Back to my question: How did you land on this blog post? Maybe you found it through a Google search, my Instagram account, or a friend who sent you the link.

12 Ways I’m Growing My Business in 2023

As a solopreneur, my desire is to grow my team over time, so I don’t have to say “no” to dream clients. In the meantime, it’s just me. The kind of growth I’m imagining requires both mindset work and hands-on strategy. Here’s what I’m doing online and offline to grow the rest of the year.

Increasing Productivity With Menstrual Cycle Syncing

No more randomly scheduling your meetings, projects, and tasks. Instead, align your business with your varying levels of productivity, social energy, and rest within a given month, as determined by your menstrual cycle.

Menstrual Phase

Now’s the time to go inward and reflect. Give yourself extra grace and flexibility as you bleed. Honor the fact that you may require extra rest for several days.

During your menstrual phase, you can:

  • Conduct a monthly review
  • Practice vision mapping
  • Make intuitive decisions
  • Repost old content
  • Read a book about your industry
  • Conduct a SWOT analysis for the upcoming month
  • Take a social media break
  • Research upcoming networking events

Follicular Phase

Your body is gearing up for higher-energy days and creative work sessions. Now’s the time to lean into batched processes and repeatable tasks, rather than jumping between various types of work.

During your follicular phase, you can:

  • Batch your copywriting
  • Batch your video filming
  • Batch your client calls
  • Batch your podcast recording
  • Schedule upcoming content
  • Hold coffee shop meetings
  • Design social media graphics
  • Plan a social media live stream

Ovulatory Phase

At this point, you may feel more motivated to put yourself out there, whether it’s in person or on the internet. As opposed to your menstrual phase, take this time to leave it all on the court…stop hiding…do the darn thing!

During your ovulatory phase, you can:

  • Facilitate team meetings
  • Conduct sales calls
  • Conduct team hiring
  • Enjoy a photoshoot
  • Complete a social media live stream
  • Post bold and daring social media captions
  • Attend a networking event
  • Hold a business strategy session

Luteal Phase

Ready to start going inward again? This is when your body requires energy to either prepare for pregnancy or release an egg that dies during menstruation. Get your logical tasks in order, and don’t be surprised if you come off as more critical than ever.

During your luteal phase, you can:

  • Create monthly reports
  • Edit your photos and videos
  • Record your website analytics
  • Complete accounting tasks
  • Organize your workspace
  • Organize your digital files
  • Conduct keyword research
  • Get your email inbox to zero

This month’s KQWS Bulletin was delivered super late at night (for most of you), since I'm in San Diego for a bit. Sending you west coast vibes, wherever you are! ✌🏾

P.S.

I’d love to share my menstrual cycle syncing planner with you! This downloadable PDF helps you navigate each of the four phases of your menstrual cycle as a busy entrepreneur.
